woyww

A bit of a mess actually.  Still sorting out stuff hanging around from the holiday like the passports and Amy's goodie bag  (I will put in the post.... I promise).   Trying to make a quick card using the Twinkie or Karin stamps from Stampotique coloured with watercolours.  Love those stamps.

Didn't get to post last week so I couldn't explain that I have a new shelf on my desk.  Made of raw pine and I coloured it with Alcohol Inks because I am lazy.  Turned out beautifully and even DH couldn't believe I had stained, polished and it was dry in 10 minutes ready for him to assemble.   Now trying to catch up on all those jobs without losing the holiday feeling ...

You will be pleased to know that the emu is now standing on his own two legs (a bit wonkily I might add)! Clever you staining your own shelf! You go girl!

  7. Ooooh, yeah, if that pool was in my memory it would be hard to get back to reality...but you'll feel the pull of the craft desk again and the pool will have to wait patiently for the next time...
