woyww and rain, rain and more rain

With weather like this I have a perfect excuse to paint, stamp and scrap. Working on the last of the she art girls and this one probably reflects an  older me!!!

The photo is dark (sorry) but with this weather no amount of flash/ lights or drawn curtains was going to brighten up my little desk.  I have really enjoyed the she art online workshop, mainly because Christy really does show you how to build backgrounds by layering and using different textures and stamps, paint, inks etc, etc.  The girls themselves are "cookie cutter style" but their little blank faces do have appeal.  I have never been able to draw (yet) so this suits me for now.

I'm off to check out Julia's woyww and be inspired and have a giggle.

The answer to the question you left on my blog about what I was going to do with the cutouts is I'm not sure yet lol. Sometimes I have clear ideas for a project. This is a case of experimenting and finding uses later lol. Thanks for sharing and dropping by :D #45

  13. I think the She art is coming along nicely. I wish I could find a class around here. Not as lucky if it isn't just cutesy and pretty to the masses. We are a little back woodsy in my part of Oklahoma and it takes longer for ideas to catch on! Thanks for sharing. Vickie aka okienurse #35

  19. Your art is beautiful and the background you created is fabulous. Hopefully your weather will improve... I rather have rain then the cold and snow that's out my window today in Colorado. Have a great week!

  20. I have not been able to draw, but I did have a go while we were away at Easter, with mixed success, but I had fun trying. Keep going with what you do now, but take time to have a go at drawing too. Hope your weather improves soon.
