woyww - butterflies and text ... again you say.

I have to admit to loving butterflies and they always find their way into a lot of my projects.  I also noticed that I use script or text when I am working with butterflies.  No logic or reason they just seem to go together for me.   I wonder what other woyww find themselves using again and again.

So just for a change I made another ATC accordian book.
Yep, when I make something I like I just keep doing it.  Finally an ATC where I tried out the hammered chipboard technique.  Then I noticed I had used the butterfly and text background again.
I really need to get out a bit more.
I'm off to see what other woyww's have on their desk.

  2. Actually, I LOVE that butterfly and the ones on your desk, too. I don't think you can have too many butterflies, and when I find a certain style, I try to stick with it. Happy WOYWW from a non-butterfly # 3.

  4. Ooh, that ATC book is just fabulous. I really don't like butterflies in actual life, but I LOVE using them on scrapbook pages and seeing them on cards. So cute!

  5. Nothing wrong with being hooked on butterflies and text. Butterflies are so feminine, or I feel that when I am card making.
That is a lovely cover for your book, really pretty and most delightful. Love the atc too - hammered chipboard technique? Must look it up.
Don't forget to call in and check out my blog candy - it closes late tonight and I should be drawing tomorrow. Thanks for sharing. Hugs, Neet 29

  33. Oooh, another butterfly fiend! Love your butterflies and text together - lovely ATC, and I really like your accordion book too. What is the hammered chipboard technique? Any special hammer? It looks great! Glad you like my butterfies, and I hope you manage to get the glue in Oz, as it's awesome - you don't need much and it gives a good strong bond, really quickly too. It's great for boxes. Happy WOYWW, Shoshi #35

  34. I'm with you, butterflies and text go well together. My go-to thing of late has been the image on a punched circle or oval with a larger punched circle or oval layered behind that. I was out of town for 2 weeks without those punches so I did get a chance to get out of that. Funny how there are things we gravitate to. Very nice looking ATC book!

  36. Those are both beautiful projects! The butterflies lend themselves so well to text that it is hard to resist. And with ATC's as nice as yours, why would you stop? Dani28
