woyww - blue canvas and atc

Starting on a steampunk atc and at this point just trimming the focal image.  Backgrounds all ready to go but I have plenty of time as the swap is not due until the end of October.  Plenty of time to fiddle around and over think the whole swap.

The blue bits and bobs canvas  is coming along, although in this photo it all looks a little skewif!! The canvas started with a stencilled background then layers of bits; watch parts, jewellery, washers, string, paper scraps, metal clips, pins, fabric flowers and moulded flowers.  I will let it sit for awhile before I start to work on the colours.   All in all a good week.  I wonder how other woyww's have managed this week? 5. Lovely canvas. I'm caught by blue and white every time, and this is looking so interesting. The arrangement makes such a lovely shape on the stencilled background. Let us know when it's finished because it looks pretty good right now.

  14. What a fabulous image you are using for your atc's - don't fiddle too long. The canvas is coming along nicely, check the Finnabar link on my blog for inspiration (down right hand side and I may have got the name wrong but it is something like that - might be Finnaibar)

  24. Here I was getting ready to leave a message when a thunderstorm knocked my electricity out. It was still out this morning when I went grocery shopping. Hard to shop when all the registers are hooked to computers (aka electricity). Thanks for stopping by. I sure like your concept of "overthinking" the swap. I've done that before, too. I suspect it's no longer Wednesday where you are, but still a warm WOYWW from #4.

  28. That statement made me laugh--plenty of time to over think it. Maybe that is why I don't give myself much time to complete projects, so I can avoid that part. The bits and bobs canvas just keeps coming together. Looking good!

  30. That canvas is looking very cool and pretty. Lovely colours and design. Thank you for your visit and kind comments. I can definitely recommend the Splodge mat if you want to do any ink blending - is simple but effective. Have a good week. xx Maggie #100

  33. Your canvas is looking good and I love the image you are using on your ATC's. Don't overthink it, just go with what happens first, you will find that you will just go back to the first idea anyway. Well that is what happens with me.
