woyww - art journal and cards

The beginning of an art journal page.  Trying out the new "typo" letter stamps and of course on the right the magazine with Kate Crane's article which always inspires me to give it a go.
The desk is relatively tidy as I had finished making Xmas cards and did a quick tidy up for the pic.  Still  need to make about 40 more cards and I should be set.  Hopefully I will remember where I put them when I go to post the cards in December.
Not a lot to show for a week but I am sure inspiration awaits at other desks on WOYWW.

  5. You should not tidy up the desk to take a photo that defeats the purpose of WOYWW when we want to see it messy. Those chrissy cards are lovely especially the green and blue one.

  7. Well, my resolution this year was to do at least one Christmas card a month, so I wouldn't have to do loads at once. We are now in October, and I have a grand total of ONE card done. I think this counts as an epic fail, lol.Love your cards, and the journal colours. Have a great week, Shaz #60

  14. What a lovely start to that journal page - beautiful colours. Your Noel card is beautiful, that is my favourite. Thank you for your visit today. I suspect my desk will be upside down before the end of the day as I need to do a few Blue Peter "ones that I did earlier", so that I can demonstrate what we are trying to do tomorrow. Have a good week. xx Maggie #36

  15. The paper on that card is lovely. What a nice mix of colours. And the baubles looks perfect. I find Kate so inspiring and she has such a lovely style. But what is the mag title? Not Craft Stamper, is it? ??

  18. Of course you will remember where to put them - in the Postbox silly (yes I know what you really mean). Usually leave my C cards until late November so have no chance of 'losing' them.

  19. Lovely colours on your journal page and your cards are beautiful. I particularly like the paper on the second of your cards, it's stunning. That doesn't look like a magazine we can find over here, or is it Craft Stamper? Hope you have a good week and happy WOYWW, Elizabeth x #49
