woyww - brights and gelli plate

The beginnings of a gelli print.  Striving for a monochromatic  effect as I do tend to go overboard with colours.  If you doubt me check out the tags I made using the portfolio oil pastels inspired by Paperartsy tutes.

So not a lot happening on my desk but I am sure woyww will have lots of great ideas.  Join in courtesy of Julia

  16. I am intrigued with these gelli plates, they sound fascinating. However, I think I shall have to just watch for a while, my credit card cannot cope with the strain. Thank you for your visit. I have now found that I have three tiny conifers, all have come from different kits. If that is all, then I am doing well. Have a good week. xx Maggie #20

  17. I am also intrigued by the gel plates. Do you brayer on teh gels then lay your paper onto it, like an old printing press?? My head is now swimming with ideas...LOL Never too much color, love your tags.

  25. I really can't understand why people pay so much for a gelliplate when lino is so cheap... tell me please...I really don't mind being convinced to try it if you can tell me the benefits over lino...

I have always admired your colour palettes and see it as a signature mark of your style - please don't change I love your choices.

    Your tags are dazzling! ;D
I tend to only use colour when painting with silk paints.
