woyww - ATC from Finland

Wednesday has not turned out as I had planned...... lunch abandoned (sorry RosA!) and car now at the mechanic.  So I walked home and started a painting and then I collected the mail.  A wonderful ATC from Riikka Kovasin from Finland arrived and my day got a lot better.  Thank you Riikka I am thrilled.
I had to take a photo so you can see all the lovely mixed media details on the ATC and the fab stamp.

Finally a pic of the huge butterfly or possibly a moth that landed on the back screen as I was coming inside.  Finger in the photo so that you can gauge how huge.... nothing to do with my bad photography.

Enjoy your Wednesday and hopefully this week I will get around to visit.

  11. Shame about the car problem but I bet that ATC cheered you up a bit and that gorgeous butterfly. Don't get them so big over here but I did see three of them 'dancing' together in my garden yesterday, a sure sign of Spring.

  16. Hope your car is well again soon! I'm flexible, we can do lunch whenever it suits :) I just stayed at work a bit longer and got more paperwork dealt with ... such fun :)
The butterfly/moth is amazing! Don't think I've ever seen one like that? You can probably google "common suburban butterflies" or something to identify it. Yes, I would have been slightly cheered up by the ATC in the mail ... very nice :)

  28. A fear of things with wings in the real world makes me take a deep breath, but made from red rubber mounted onto a wooden block I can cope. I love to see pictures but couldn't put my hand into the picture. A nice ATC card.

  32. What a beautiful butterfly! I am hoping that all my new plants will attract loads of bee, butterflies and other insects. Almost everything that I am putting in is for that purpose and to provide great perfume day and night. Hope you soon get your car back. Mine was fixed in five minutes yesterday, turned out to be a connection come unplugged. I am looking forward to seeing the painting when it is finished. xx Maggie #85
