woyww - Phalaenopsis II

Painting a similar Phalaenopsis to last week but this time a plain background.  Still needs another few layers to give the colour some depth and make it stand out.  Should get around to finishing it over the weekend.

Caught up with RosA for lunch today and came home with lovely die cuts and stamped images.  Thank you :)... always lovely to have lunch with a crafty/woyww friend.
Have a lovely week.

  7. Your orchid is beautiful - what a lot Rosa can learn from watching you painting. How nice that you two can meet up and share lunch and crafting - nice things you brought home too.

  8. You've painted the orchid beautifully. My girl has had the water colours and gouache out this past week. She had to paint in the style of another artist, which she's never too keen on doing!

  9. I can see that you're working with those tiny little brushes for accuracy! So different from my technique of just throwing paint around, LOL! Beautiful flowers and I saw your shell painting on Ros's blog too! Lovely that you can swap with someone over lunch! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #38

  16. I agree, WOYWW visits in the real are just great, didn't Ros do you a nice bunch of stash! The phalaonopsis is just beautiful, takes my breath away. Nothing in it for me - with or without background!
