woyww- Red Capped Robin

A bright and chirpy little robin.

A big thank you to ShazOZ for sending me the link for the Red-capped Robin (Petroica Goodenovii) native to Australia.

Pleased with the end result and now I am getting ready to paint a bee.

Slow visits to lots of desks over the weekend.

You're amazingly clever I'll have to show your blog to my dad, he'll love it, glad I could help, much more interesting to paint our native birds isn't it?

  4. Oh wow, you've painted that? I'm speechless! Compare that to my "paintings" LOL - a bit different in style and level of difficulty haha! It must have taken you ages! No doubt the bee will turn out equally impressive! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #22

  5. Wow, I know I say it most weeks but I can't believe that's not a photograph - it's stunning, and such a pretty bird too, so different to our own robin over here in the UK. Hope you have a great week and thank you so much for stopping by earlier,
