woyww - a cupcake and other things

Painting a delicious cupcake and I decided to leave out the bits of blueberry in the icing.

January's tutorial is a succulent and I can't wait to get started.

Repainted the cover of my faces sketchbook.  Much happier with this version.

Finally a pic of the two kookaburra's we were feeding while on holidays.
Back to work next week.

  2. That cupcake is truly good enough to eat!! And the looks really good too!
We often have a kookaburra or two in the backyard, usually on the clothesline. They're my favourite bird.

  4. Hi Sandra. Your painting is really good. You have been practicing so hard, and just see those results. That face is great - and as for the cupcake.... yum!
Imagine having kookaburras in the garden! Almost all I get is seagulls and jackdaws! They are taking over round here courtesy of folk feeding them. Grrr!
    Take care. God bless.

  6. It's hard to tell which one is the photo and which one is the painting! Those cupcakes make me so hungry even though I've just polished off a cheese roll! The face is really really good - I like the hair best! I've heard of Kookaburras but never knew what they looked like. They're so cute! Look a lot like Kingfishers! Thanks for visiting earlier! 9. That cupcake looks good enough to eat, Sandra and I love your new journal cover, the colours are lovely. I was thinking of the same song as Lindart, small world, when I saw your Kookaburras. It's blowing a gale here today and snow is forecast. How I long for your sunshine.
Have a good week. No desk from me today, catching up with jobs.
