woyww - spare time projects

Loving the quiet time between Christmas and new year. I had
planned a few projects and lovely DH supplied the gifts for me to start.

Almost there with my little sketches "moments we forget". Yes, the sketch of the glowing orange sun is a tiny glimpse of the impact of the bush fires all along the east coast of Australia.  A few more sketches to complete and then I will be posting it to the Brooklyn Art Library.

Final (staged) photo is my first attempt at making watercolours.  With the addition of a new glass muller and jars of pigment, I should be able to make and paint until I drop and still not finish the lot.

Happy 2020 to all the lovely WOTWW
and
may it have a few highs and not too many lows.

  7. Hi Sandra, love the ATC's, beautiful. So awful to keep reading about the fires, cannot imagine what it's like to live with. Great fun I'm sure mixing your own paints! Have a lovely week, and Happy New Year from us both, Shaz X

  11. Ah wonder what a glass muller is Sandra will have to Google when not so short of time way behind in getting around. Love the wee sketches and yes praying very much for rain for fires and some rain please LORD to our all our and parched farmers soil to be moistened.

Am praying for monsoon season to start up north, as it’s not started yet once it does and a small cyclone or two from east and west.
.... and we will be much better off that’s my prayer focus anyways, as well as much safety upon all.

Happy belated WOYWW. Thanks for being a blessing, and may God bless you too, especially good health in 2020.
    Hugs, Shaz in Oz.x #2 kinda! 😊
