Just getting ready to do the yellow lo for the workshop with Nic. Quickly remembered to take a pic of my desk just as I get everything out so I can join WOYWW. Discovered I don't have a lot of yellow..... why or why didn't I buy even more stuff at the Penrith paper festival??
Started the day with a lovely morning walk along the beach to look at "sculptures by the sea". Not often I get a day off in the middle of the week and we didn't do the whole walk. Sharing one of my favourite sculptures.... enjoy.
Great desk to snoop and that chicken is fabulous... I want it in my garden!
ReplyDeleteIs that ladybird on your PC a screen saver?

Fab work desk Sandra, lucky you, walks along the beach, sounds like paradise to me. Love the chicken. Carolxx......66
ReplyDeleteIt never ceases to amaze me that no matter how much paper I buy and store away... I never have a range of papers in certain colours when they are needed! Love your chicken... he would look pretty good in my garden!!
ReplyDeleteAlways glad to see another Mac user. Although I've never seen a screen with as few dock icons in it (I just counted 13 on mine!)
ReplyDeleteLove that dude on the beach, how cool is he? What bliss to start your day with a walk on the beach :-)

Glad you came back! I was really confused at first... there's a Penrith in the NW of England and the closest beach would look nothing like that!, especially at this time of year. Then I looked at your profile and it all made sense! Great sculpture, but which came first... the chicken or the egg!!!

Well how I love that sculpture! Colour's a funny thing isn't it - I love yellow, it's so cheerful and warm and welcoming - but how much could I lay hands on - like you, not as much as I'd like to choose from for a LO. Weird.
ReplyDeleteA bit late in visiting desks this week - sorry! The chicken is fab! Oh by the way - dumfing is just our made up word for needle felting.
ReplyDeleteI rarely use yellow but found it a great combination with red, blue and grey.
ReplyDeleteIt's taking me a while to get around this week as we swanned off to London on Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteWhen I did a tidy up/sort out once, I realised I didn't have much yellow either... I wonder why that is!

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely work to craft in you have. Thanks for sharing your workspace. Best wishes, Kym xxx (WOYWW No 36)
ReplyDeleteIt's bad enough that I am running nearly a week late, then I have been plagued with that pesky 503 error all night. Just wanted to drop in and let you know I was here this week. I saw the other one in the next post, too. Both are gorgeous because they are recycled and keep the plastic out of the ocean. Thoughtful post.
