woyww - wet and wild

It's a windy wet woyww, perfect for a little crafting.  But, not a lot to show as I have just started an online art journal workshop with Christy Tomlinson.  So what you see on my desk is the journal prompt list and my pen.  That is as far as I got because I start watching the video and then I get distracted by the cat!!   This happens quite a bit and probably reflects my scatty nature a bit similar to the cat.   But, I have included the finished box from a previous post.  I used tissue tape to cover the box, then coloured with alcohol inks added the chip board circle thing and metal corner bits.
The second pic is the book that my DD covered.  She rarely takes an interest in craft so when she says "can you help me?".  I drop everything to offer glue/paper/bling whatever she needs really!

Enjoy your woyww.

  4. Isn't it great when the younger ones take an interest in crafting? My daughter and her family has gone to Canada for a holiday and told us before she went that we were due for a heatwave this week. I think she took it with her as it has been cold and wet and windy here. As you say, a good time for some crafting. Thank you for sharing you projects with us.

  7. Oh that's me and my Dd too - although I end up dropping everything about 12 hours before she needs it to be finished...because she leaves it and leaves it...argh! I don't have a cat, but I could easily blame one for the distractions caused by this 'ere interweb!!

  12. You are so lucky to have a young one interested in crafts, my three, all grown up have no such inclination although I do have hopes with my grandaughters. The box covering looks really interesting.

  15. Hi Sandra, you know, I'm exactly the same with my DD - if she wants help I'll be there with all the crafty stuff needed for the job. The box turned out great and the book cover is lovely. Hope you get into your journalling after the cat has stopped distracting you. Have a great week. Elizabeth x #53
