woyww bits and pieces

The usual things on my desk; another canvas,  primed and already starting to add layers of glimmermist.  My trusty kindle recharging on the right.  Computer no longer on the desk but finally moved onto its own desk.  The desk courtesy of the sweet teenager who would prefer a makeup table with mirrors rather than a computer desk!  She assures me she will spend more time with me if the computer desk is in my room.

Off to see julia's wonderful world of woyww.

  1. it is not true, teenagers develop the manipulation gene(to compensate for the loss of childhood cuteness) at 13 and it doesn't disappear until they have kids of their own and are too tired to do the legwork...nice desk...scary canvas...

  7. You have stuff hidden from view out the way right? can't see any glimmer mists. You look after yourself too, water to drink (not the sugary confectionary stuff some of us sport........). Wonder what your canvas will become?

  8. Lovely workdesk! Lol at the teenagers and the comments they generate! Hope we see what ends up on that pristine white canvas - it looks exciting.

  9. Oh from where I'm siting I thought you'd got glue or paint smudged on your kindle. Alarm! Your daughter's right..sort of. She'll spend more time in your room....but quite possibly not in chat mode..just concentrating on the screen and getting ars** when interuppted!!

  10. Well that technique worked for my mum when she brought me a scrapbox in exchange for my computer 'amoire'(cupboard with pull out desk) - but probably only because it had to go in the same room as there was no space anywhere else lol tfs Jenny

  11. Glad to see someone else with a kindle. I am truly addicted to mine, and we are steadily replacing favourite books with the kindle version after the books themselves starting disintegrating. It is wonderful for holiday as you can take so many books with you for little weight and the battery lasts for such a long time. I wish my craft area was a clear as yours today. I must do better.

  12. I got a late start yesterday because I fell asleep before I could link up with Julia. Now I'm just trying to play catch up. I have seen those Kindles, but never thought I needed one. I hope your desk exchange brings happiness to both you AND your daughter. Hopefully, it will be the tie that binds.
