woyww - cards

Cleaning up my desk after making a couple of cards and finishing a project.  
 Close up of the cards, I usually leave them blank and stamp on a sentiment as needed.
The one on the left is a simple kaiser craft stamp on cardstock and on the right a glimmermist background with flowers, lace and bling.  A bit over the top but after doing one of Finnabair's inspired projects I thought I showed restrain.
The front and back cover of a new book using recycled bits and pieces including bottle tops, broken jewelry, hair clip, bolts, washes and lots of stash.  The project was inspired by Finnabair and held at a workshop by Sue from Fantasia.  Lots of fun and definitely worth trying again.

WOYWW is why I am showing what is on my desk this beautiful sunny wednesday.

    Forgot to say just in case you don't get my reply on my blog. I used gold embossing powder on my card. I have not used gold ink and clear embossing powder before, I wonder how it would look? Will have to try it. Sandy :)

    Gorgeous cards. I really like the elegance and composition of the pink one. And having them blank ready for a sentiment is a great idea. I just don't bother with a sentiment at all!

    Your cards are gorgeous, Sandra. I love that Kaisercraft stamp, I've got a thing about birdcages at the minute.
    What a stunner your book cover is. The colours and detail are amazing. I've tried and tried to do a scrapbook layout on this style but failed miserably!!!

    I love the pinks and greens and layers and textures on that last piece you showed us - completely gorgeous. You definitely should do more!!

    I can't pick a favourite! Love them all but the orange and blue combo is really luscious. and the book cover is so sweetly feminine. Great desk!

    Your book cover is gorgeous. I like how you got to use lots of different bits and pieces (stash) on it. It's also nice when that thing you've been saving forever finds its right place to be. I love your cards too. I've been playing with papers, die cuts, and other things that aren't stamps lately so I was like, "Look! Stamps!" when I got here. Apparently give me 3 days away from stamps and I forget they exist.
