woyww on a late Tuesday

What you see is an almost complete journal page using glimmer mist, gesso and rub ons.  Nothing too involved as I go for quick projects these days.  That also includes quick watercolours in my sketchbook.
Finding it easier to paint in the sketchbook rather than agonising over mistakes on the good watercolour paper that costs a fortune.  So now I have lots of paintings in my book while wishing I had used proper paper! All a bit circular but there you have it....even Kitty has had enough of my rambling.
In the hope of not missing out on another WOYWW I am posting late on Tuesday so that I can link up even later on Wednesday and visit desks on the Thursday.

  1. Things never quite go to plan do they? I do have to say I really do love your painting even if puss won't look at you when you're taking a pic :-)

  2. I LOVE the quick watercolour! Anything seaside is great! And kitty does look slightly fed up. But awfully cute all the same.
Next week fine for lunch, at this stage, anyway :)

  3. I love the colours and flourishes (see, I've finally learned the technical term rather than saying swirly wirlies!!) on your journal page :-) And your watercolours are fab, on rough paper or not. You have the knack! I don't...simples!

  6. Now I can relate to so much of your post here today Sandra,
Quick projects, using a journal for ease and then regretting it and having a disinterested pet even though you've explained the whole painful process to them ^..^ hehe
I have to say your watercolour is beautiful...so peaceful and picturesque/ I also love that colour on your journal page.
Kitty looks well settled there like the princess and the pea! ;D

  8. Bleubeard is equally fed up with my ramblings, too. But your beloved looks a bit more pleased than mine! You have gotten very, very good with your watercolors, and I think it's now time to dig out that expensive paper. You've earned it. Happy WOYWW from # 15.

  16. Love the watercolours and your sketches in the later post. I can't draw so would definitely find it impossible without an eraser.
Thanks for visiting yesterday. I'm late getting round because my internet went down at lunchtime yesterday, back this morning thank goodness. Makes me wonder what I did without it.
