My desk this Wednesday has the left over items from card making on the weekend. Finally got to play with the
Magnolias for Her stamp from "Altenew" (US) and
Nouveau Flowers from Clearly Besotted Stamps from the UK. When I saw both of these stamps a couple of months ago on a blog I had to track them down. Here are a couple of photos of the cards I made.
Yes you can see my shadow on the card. As per usual I am rushing around and don't take the time to take a really good photo.
Finally a lovely collection of cards from RosA (thank you for the cards and the catch up :)
Have a lovely woyww....
Good to catch up. Glad you like those cards :) I make far more than I can ever use :) That magnolia stamp is a great multipurpose stamp. I will find that ink bottle and send you a pic of it.
ReplyDeleteLovely cards there, Sandra. Well done. Great gift from Rosa, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting and for your comments.
Take care. God bless.

Oooh, that magnolia stamp is lovely! I've got a really soft spot for those flowers, there are some really old magnolia tress in my village and they were magnificent this year, the blossoms lasted for ages and looked spectacular. I like the simplicity of that card very much!

Lovely cards, both yours and those from Rosa.
ReplyDeleteI can relate to the shadows on photos, mine are always like that these days too.
Take care, Hugs, Neet 35 xx
What a fab show and tell of gorgeous cards today. :-)

ah wodnerful post Sandra.. you know that magnolia would look great stamped and gold embossed on vellum then colour from behind for subdued colouring and fussy cut out. Because you have coloured it you can glue it down ok... or Cathy seems to do it okay on Cathy's Card Spot one of my must try lists :D

Beautiful clean cards! I like seeing those plastic baskets/trays (what's the word for it again?) on your desk, as they remind me of the plasitc ones we get when ordering from an Asian take-away restaurant. I always save them, and if I don't use them for storing food, I use them to store die cuts, cut out stamps or even stamps for a certain project. Thanks for visiting!

What beautiful stamps. I've never seen those. I like the magnolia and I like the fact it's in fragments so you can build up your image. Both of them are very special cards.

Ooh, very pretty! I like the so simple gold on.. white? cream? hard to tell! And I am ALWAYS snapping my shadow as well :) Sometimes, even my actual reflection, depending. I am so a grab camera/snap snap snap kinda gal. I know good photos can make a project more appealing but by the time I am taking the photos, mentally, I've moved on :) You must be the same!
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW!

Very pretty Cards you have there and such a tidy space too :)
ReplyDeleteI mainly make all different Christmas cards and only make a few sets that are close to the same. I have to agree I can sit there longer trying to figure out how to a set that is the same and 6 of the same is usually my max at any given time and I do try to sell a few everyonce in a while just to see if they do
hugs Nikki 8 thanks for the visit
