woyww -card making

My wednesday desk shows stamped images that are drying in preparation for card making. The desk has not changed since Sunday when I had a burst of activity. The package on the left is craft goodies which  arrived on Tuesday and I have not even had a chance to open the box.  Nothing exciting this week but I will pop around and say hello and get inspiration from other woyww's.

Have a great week.

  5. Yes, very sad news. Julia did a post the other day (I thought you might have seen it, sorry, I should have emailed). Such a shock, and she was only 51. Will certainly miss her posts and seeing the gorgeous Yoda.

How could you not open that happy mail :) ?

  6. I think those images will be dry by now Sandra. (lol)
How on earth have you kept your fingers fro opening a package. I just have to open post like that. I even opened a big box knowing it was boring old black clay inside that I had ordered for a workshop. Hope you get some time to open the parcel.

  8. Very pretty cards - I love the delicate colours. I'm impressed that you can wait so long without opening your package - I have to tear mine open as soon as it arrives and everything else gets put on hold - of course I'm not that quick to put things away once they are opened!! Thanks so much for stopping by my desk and I hope you have a great week,

  10. Beautiful paintings, Sandra, and I look forward to seeing the cards you make with them. Nice to have new stash too, but I agree with Angela - I couldn't have a package and not open it right away! I'm always ripping away at the wrappings like a kid at Christmas, desperate to get at the contents!!!

Thanks for your lovely comment, and for your good wishes for my continuing treatment. I so appreciate the days when I start to feel better and can do some creative things! And yes, only folks like us can appreciate the Funny Stuff in that particular way lol! I think we go round with our beady eyes on everything, seeing what we can use! When we go anywhere my hubby always laughs at me because I say, "Can I make art out of that?" He usually says "NO!!" and then I have to prove him wrong!!

    Happy belated WOYWW,

  13. Your drying images look kind of shimmery as well, or is that just because they are wet? Either way they look very lovely and will make up into some nice projects. Let me chime in in your defense. I too can get packages in the mail and wait to open them. I like to have time to open and savor them and maybe even play. I hate to be rushed so if that means they have to sit for a bit, they sit! Thanks for the visit earlier! Judy #51

  14. They all look really pretty, Sandra. Someone is going to be very happy receiving those. Sounds like life is busy if you haven't had time to open crafty goodies. Hope all is well.

  15. Those are very pretty....they'll make gorgeous cards. Isn't it funny how some days, the need to make something is lacking.....there's a Welsh word 'hwyl' (pronounced hoil) which means oomph, get up and go. I have no creative hwyl at all this week :-/. There's too much other stuff to do. My garden is in overdrive and so are the weeds!
    Take care, sending hugs,
