Back from holidays and finding it hard to get motivated. So what you can see on my desk is the sketch and the paints but no painting action.
While on holidays I always try to paint something to remind me of that day. In this case fruit as I love walking the streets and buying from the street vendors.
A room with a view ummmm directly into someones room!
Finally a pic of kitty who doesn't even have the energy to reach out and play with her toy. So I wasted lots of time taking pics of her rolling around on the mat, which explains why I achieved so little this woyww.
But I do plan to visit lots of desks over the coming days.
So looking forward to seeing you start painting your flowers. Lovely work during the holiday - guess I should take a small sketch book when I go away instead of Christmas card toppers. Could practice my faces.
ReplyDeleteI think lots of photos of your cat is perfectly acceptable, they are such lovely creatures and can be so amusing.
Hugs and thanks for your visit, Neet xx2
Thanks for visiting me earlier. It's so hot here that's it's not easy to get motivated to being creative and that's why I resort to what I call easy crafting :-) my quilt pieces are now all joined together so I've just got to back it, sew a border around it and quilt it....easy peasy :-) Hope you find your mojo soon. Love your holiday painting.

ReplyDeleteSo Sandra, I love, your sketch! It may not have color to it yet, but it will be gorgeous when you are done! Travel journals are so much fun and, in your case, it would seem come with a bit of humor! LOLOL Love your kitty's assumed position, ohhhhh the life! :) LOL Blessings, Felicia #40
ReplyDeleteI love your holiday paintings. So much more fun than postcards. Was it Vietnam you were?

ReplyDeleteHi Sandra. It's always hard to get going again after holidays isn't it. I hope you had a wonderful time. I love that you sketch your holiday photos, saves having to spend ages taking them off the camera, which is what I always end up doing.

Hellooooo! Welcome back, I hope you had a great time on your jollies 😃 Your watercolours are lovely, a fab memory of your trip. But I had to laugh at your cat, I feel a bit like that at the moment!
