Two little hellebores painted over the past fortnight. A short post for woyww as it has been a busy week with work and family activities. I shouldn't complain about work as it funds the painting and craft.
Happy woyww and I promise to visit over the weekend.

Lovely to see you Sandra and your beautiful Hellebores. They look so delicate. Ours have finished flowering now and all the blossom is out and looking beautiful.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week.

Exquisite! They are one of my favourite flowers and you have captured them so perfectly, I just don't know how you do it, but I'm always very, very impressed!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week,

Pretty, sensitive little flowers Miss S! I know what you mean about work - sometimes its not a complaint about the work, its about the hours lost really, huh!
ReplyDeleteHi Sandra - just beautiful. You can almost see the sun behind them. Well done.
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

Beautiful - so simple yet so lovely! That's the one thing I miss by being retired and not earning - I can't support my habit like I used to! I am nearing the end of my Michael's Christmas Gift Card :-( Thanks for sharing, Lindart #35
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous. I'm afraid they don't look so pretty now as they are all shrivelled so this is a lovely reminder of how they did look. You have caught their character beautifully. I don't know if it was just the direction they faced but the one on the right seemed to be looking at the one on the left and you have caught that pose so well in your painting. I have some more photographs to put on soon as my Orchids are flowering well at the moment and I have a Dendrobium which is gorgeous, will let you know when I post them. Thanks for the visit to mine, have a great woyww and lovely week too, Angela x11x
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely beautiful! You've done a marvelous job!! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Sandra
ReplyDeleteThose flowers look good! I particularly like the pink shading which seems very realistic.
Fantasia just closed down over here :(
So I guess it will be online shopping, mainly, from now on, when I "need" something.
Yes, the 19th should be good. Will look forward to that. (Wondering if I could borrow your Gelli Plate, if you're not using it?) :)
ReplyDeleteGuess what? I think the 19th is smack! bang! in the middle of the school holidays!! Better reschedule?
ReplyDeleteStunning work, you are very clever. - Jacqueline xx
ReplyDeleteMmm I'm catching up too Sandra, way behind. Love the helibores, beautifully done as usual. Thanks for popping over too. Hope you've had a good weekend. I'm way behind too..
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your inspiration!

Not a clue how I missed you, I love looking at your paintings. Those Christmas Roses remind me of my wedding. I so wanted those for my bouquet but they could not get them. So disappointing but such a long time ago now. Yours are absolutely beautiful - but then I love whatever you do.
