An aerial view of the kitty I am painting for DD's friend. All credit to the original owner who posted a lovely pic on Pinterest. I am adding fattening touches to recreate the kitty we know. Half way through the painting and hope to have him finished by Friday.
My desk has it's usual yucky water and dirty palette. Wish I had more to show but it has been busy week.
Have a lovely woyww peek.
My water is always dirty... lol!! great kitty. Helen #5
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW. A beautiful cat. We used to have a family of that colour on the farm over several generations, but sadly the last died a few years ago. I am intending to try some watercolour next month - ready for the Watercolour Month in July. Not something that has inspired me before, but I keep seeing some amazing work on Instagram - it is not all pastel flowers! Ali x #7
ReplyDeleteAlways in awe of your amazing painting, so lifelike.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit BJ#11

ReplyDeletePainting with tones of one colour is a skill! You have it :-D. You made me smile talking about fattening the cat up, can you do slimming down of me please?? Lolol!!

I always love to see what you have on the go. I didn't realise that artists did air brushing too, I thought it was only photographers lol. Hope the tag makes it to you soon. It was sent air mail! Happy WOYWW Sarah #22
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful work Sandra. And what an appealing pose.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the atc (yours in the mail) - our postie knocked on the door to deliver it as he was amazed it had only been posted on the 25th and despite Bank Holiday he was delivering yesterday all the way from Oz (the atc not the postie). Love the accompanying card too.
Hugs, Neet 13 xx
Morning Sandra. I had to smile at your puss, he's a beauty and the spitting image of one of ours. Your friend is going to be delighted with it.
ReplyDeleteHope you have the sunshine today. It's back out here after a few days of much needed rain for the garden.
Have a good week

ReplyDeleteHi Sandra. Those cat eyes are stunning. Well done. My hubby used to do scraperboard work, and always said that he did the eyes first because if they weren't right there was no use going any further - well done - you nailed those eyes!
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

Hi Sandra
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love the kitty profile! I think you've captured it so well!
Still feeling much less than 100% with this flu. Better now than the middle of winter though. I've been lying around doing nothing except a bit of knitting, which is something, I guess. I will put an anniversary ATC in the mail ... eventually. (I've done them, just can't face the post office.)

ReplyDeleteHi Sandra , sorry I'm late. I seem to be apologising for this on a regular basis at the moment. Beautiful image you're working on, love it. Happy crafty belated woyww, Angela x21x
ReplyDeleteFabulous post,
ReplyDeleteSorry for the delay in commenting, laptop trouble. It's died on me and I'm in a bit of a flap.
On a positive note, my Dear Husband plans to buy a replacement for me.
