Underpainting of a rose with lots of ruffled petals sits on my desk this Wednesday. Hopefully I will get some time this weekend to shift it from pink to deep burgundy.
The completed kookaburra (Dacelo novaeguineae). He turned out to be a fine fellow sitting happily while I painted every little feather!
A lovely catch up with RosA today and now sitting here admiring all the texture
goodies she has made.
Have a lovely woyww.
Fabulous paintings as ever, and love RosA's work too. Helen #1

ReplyDeleteYour Kookaburra certainly is a fine fellow sitting in the old gum tree, Sandra!! I love him and your rose is looking beautiful. I have a stamp that you can make look like that with layers, but I could never paint one, you are so talented.
ReplyDeleteHope life is good down under.
