woyww - view of a room

Not a lot on my desk today.  Just a book that I was repairing and turned to alcohol inks to match the colour on the binding.  I don't use alcohol inks a great deal unless it is a home  DIY project.  The pic is really just a broad shot of my craft room as the sun was setting so a little dark.  Hope you noticed the glass of wine.  I didn't realise until I had posted the pic. He he!!

Off to join the crazy world of Julia's WOYWW.

  3. Did the alcohol inks work out OK? They are never predictable, are they? Have a look at my blog and see what Alessandra has sent me!

  5. Glass of wine is essential now and again! I scrolled down to your previous post and saw Ubud. I went there 20 odd years ago, wonderful place bursting with the most amazing art and crafts. As we'd been hiking through Sumatra and Java, Ubud was definitely our take it easy part of the holiday.... Happy days :)

  8. What a lovely room and every crafter should have a glass of wine to help the creative juices. Hope you enjoyed it.

  13. LOL - I might not have noticed the wine if you hadn't mentioned it! Good for you - a glass of red has it's health benefits, eh?

The photo on my wall at work... An interesting description, but in the interests of enlightenment, you might like to know it's actually a microscope photo of a circuit board (specifically a thick film hybrid) but that's about the limit of my electronics knowledge! LOL.... Not quite in my taste...

  14. There is a wonderful mellow feel to your room ...had to smile at the wine glass because as I read your first line I read it as 'turned to alcohol' ....missed the ink lol

  15. Yah, a glass of wine is automatically the way to think about using alcohol inks for your book - great word association! I rarely use mine either. Inks, that is!
