woyww - LO with bits

I am always collecting bits of paper which are just too good to throw out.  Only a crafter would understand.   I  store it all a box for that "special project" that needs something.  The box is in the top left corner and you can see it is full.  I even separate the scraps into like minded scraps, hence the zip lock back with extra special scraps.  At this stage I am just playing around with the bits and will eventually look for a photo to fit the LO.   Normally I would start with a photo and then work on the LO to fit the photo.  Today is different and I have no explanation apart from woyww!

  1. Hi Sandra, That's looking VERY nice! Lovely colours. I'm sure you'll find a photo or something to go there.

  2. The kiddie images are stamps. Pretty cool, eh? And the "card" is actually a canvas, about 8x12, or a bit bigger, I think. Sort of like a cross between a card and a scrapbook page, I guess, but done on a canvas.

  13. This is lovely so far, even without a photo. We don't tend to keep scraps, but looking at your page, we may have to start.

  17. A lady the playing around is paying off..this looks fab...love the idea of separating scraps for separation purposes! More though, am impressed that you're working 'backwards' as it were for a LO...gotta be quite a bit easier, surely?

  19. Sometimes it is good to change it up and start from a different place. Things are looking good. I think we all have those boxes of extra special, too good to throw out bits. Like you said, only a crafter would understand.

  20. Is a LO with bits a bit like the orange juice that only I like?? I have the same problem throwing away fabric scraps..I chuck them all in a big bag and fish some out occasionally to make flower corsages etc etc!

  25. Oh, i love collecting bits of paper or small magazine clippings for such a purpose. I like flicking through my collection from timr to time, wondering when i'm going to get around to using certain pieces. They never get used the way i think they will! Fab colours and composition - keep up the good work! x
