An action shot of a card lying on my desk (sorry about the blur) hands are still not steady and its only 11.30 in the morning. Decided to just get on with the card making in the hope I can get them all in the post by the end of this week.
Another card this time using a laser cut out. Can't see the glimmer on the white paper which is a pity as it looks all shimmery. I am sure you get the idea. When I tire of making cards I really just doodle.
But now I think they look like poinsettia's, so I must still have Xmas on the brain. Now I am off to be inspired by all the other wonderful desks on wednesday.
Hi Sandra, Great Christmas card! Love the colours! Wasn't expecting to catch you today. Hope all goes well. I might not have time to do WOYWW this week, maybe late tonight.
ReplyDeleteI do like the look of the look of that ribbon it looks great.. Love the doodling its lovely.. Great papers you have used look really shimmery. Thanks for visiting me already.. Merry Christmas. Sandy :)
ReplyDeleteNice! It's great to see different colours on a Christmas card. And I really like your poinsettias..it's hard to describe, but they just LOOK right?! I can grow any plant in the garden but have the Kiss of Death when it comes to houseplants..sigh. I never give up trying but am slowly decimating a cyclamen (inadvertently of course) at the moment....

Love your cards and it makes a change to see orange instead of traditional colours. Your doodels would make a great stamp.

Hi Sandra, thanks for the good wishes. Luckily I do usually heal quite quickly. I think that what gets to me is that I am one of those people who never ever get ill- been registered with my Doc for 14 years, seen him once, couldn't even tell you what his name is- so I have a zero tolerance for not being able to do things, and it drives me nuts.I must admit looking at the doodles, my first thought was Pointsettias, I suppose we all have Christmas on the brain right now. Have a great week, Shaz #54
