Wishing you all a delightfully craft 2013.
I started the year by making a background for the 2013 calendar which came courtesy of Paula & Deb from their One Lucky Day blog. You have to check out the wonderful calendar Paula created. As I never have the same bits and pieces mine is "same same but different".
I am still painting unidentified flowers....
and pink poppies ...
finally trying to loosen up and getting the hang of all this water floating around.
Wonder what other woyww's are doing this year?
what a gorgeous calendar and lovely paintings... just beautiful!
ReplyDeletewishing you all good things in 2013 and happy WOYWW :o)

I love the unidentified flowers, they are looking great.
ReplyDeleteBreautiful even if they are unidentified, but I think they look a little like panzies, regardless they are amazing.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful watercolouring, I love the first one especially. We have some blue old-fashioned geraniums in our garden (the old name is cranesbill) and they look like those, only a different colour obviously.
ReplyDeleteHope 2013 is a happy and healthy one for you and yours.

ReplyDeleteLove the calendar - and the poppies are beautiful - think you are getting the hang of it - and some !! Happy New Year Ali #121
ReplyDeleteThe "unidentified" flowers look like Californian Poppies to me. They grow in cracks in the drive and garden all by themselves - really pretty. I am so impressed with your painting. Have a great New Year. xx Maggie #45
ReplyDeleteI'm terribly impressed that you are dabbling in water colors. I'm with you, water wandering around and color getting intense in one area and non-existent in another and never where you'd like. Very gorgeous flowers and I'm pro-unidentified. Sometimes it is better not knowing, especially later when you find out it is a weed. Your calendar is fun. My homemade one still says December... whoops.
