woyww- poppies

Any sign of christmas is now under the tree or in the post.   The desk tidy so that I can start playing with watercolours.  My first poppy on the right and now all set up for the next one. I watched Michelle Brown in action on You Tube.  Loved it .... have signed up for the online course.  Realise now she is totally against the jam jar of water and it must be replaced with a bucket of water and larger sheets of paper.  Must remember to do that before I start the course.  Below a close up of the poppies.
Looking forward to learning some techniques.   I love to fiddle with watercolours but always make a mess.

Finally a pic of kitty who continues to sleep no matter what is happening around her.  A real inspiration.
Christmas joy and cheer to all in woyww.

  10. We both have poppies on the desk today, Sandra. Yours are so beautiful. Well done on getting everything done and having time to play. It's funny, I was watching a watercolour demo at the weekend and wondering whether I dared to break out my paints again. I never feel I'm very good. I will check out that u tube too.
Have a really Happy Christmas and a Peaceful and Crafty New Year.

  12. I meant to say thanks for your lovely card before. That ribbon's great, isn't it? So versatile. Do you have any of those little mini circular containers of water colours? They are great for travelling.

  19. Oh, gosh! You are so organised and I'm now suffering from clear desk envy :) The poppies are beautiful. It's some time since I did any water colouring and I'm not in your league but I do find it an enjoyable way of colouring stamped images. Enjoy the course. Wishing you and yours a wonderful time during the festivities and happy holidays. Elizabeth x #46
