woyww - DD layout

My desk has a collection of scrapbook papers  as I prepare to start a school photo layout  of my "sweet" DD.  She rarely poses for a photo these days but this one met with her approval and I am allowed to do my crafty stuff.  You can also see another completed box on the desk.  Last week it was black this week shades of grungy blue/black with flowers and metal bits but no bolts.

Thank you to all the lovely woyww's who offered to help me locate the French stamp.  I had sent a few emails to different crafting stores in both the UK, Australia with little success.  But I did get a lovely reply from the French company who made the stamp and they were helpful.  It is being shipped to me in 2 weeks.  A whole lot cheaper then if I had bought it in Australia.

Looking forward to peeking at a few other desks this week courtesy of Julia.

  4. Love that box- what is it with us ladies? As we get older, we get way more careful with what photos we allow the world to see, lol. Thank heavens for digital cameras I say. A lot of horror pictures never see the light of day now. Would love to swap, I'll email you my addy. Have a great week, Hugs Shaz #85 xxx

  9. That box is awesomely awesome. I love it. And your daughter is gorgeous, so I can understand why you'd want to make a few spread with her in them.

thanks for dropping by while I slept. I think I wrote a tutorial on how I made the ATC backs, but have no idea where it is right now (grin).

And I love your altered box,, those are my colours..mmmmmm. You are clever in that each one has been very individual indeed. What's next? A vibrant red maybe??!
Ad it was a Sparrowhawk apparently, so I think the meal was one of the hundreds of sparrow we have around here......

  17. Hi Sandra,
Your DD pic is lovely! Glad you got "permission" to use it :)
And the box is great too! I would just keep on making them :)
The shaving cream technique only makes a bit of a mess, nothing you couldn't cope with, I'm sure. I want to try some different colouring mediums with it too.
