A boring desk with some images that I am considering using for ATC's. You just never know when you will need a few extra ATC's for a swap. Getting to the end of my travel journal and I have a quick pic of rocks.
The theme continues with a few added twigs and leaves for variety.
Looking back now I think the rocks might be a metaphor for watercolour painting. Thanks to everyone who visited last week and left such lovely comments.

You have really cracked that technique! The rocks look as if I could pick them up and feel the smoothness of them and the twigs...well, they're just so twiggy, if you know what I mean. Great work, Sandra, be proud :-)

Wish I could draw like you. The painting of the rocks would be perfect framed, very restful, like a Japonese racked garden.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting earlier, much appreciated.
Happy Wednesday.

ReplyDeleteNot boring--it always leaves me with a feeling of anticipation, to see a tidy desk like this.
ReplyDeleteYour paintings are charming. You've almost motivated me to get out my "good" watercolours and have a go at it again!

Must admit I never got into ATCs.
ReplyDeleteYour desk looks ready for something amazing to happen.
Love the paintings. I amaze myself at how rubbish I am at painting.

I love watercolours, but only use mine really for colouring anything I have drawn or stamped. Your painting is in another league - lovely. I do have a lot of stamps, I fully admit it, but once I have sorted them, I should be able to use them all at any time. I need to finish that job before I can tackle any of the other piles of stuff around the place. Hope you have a good week. xx Maggie #3

Loving the rocks, and the watercolours. Them being a metaphor...oooeeer, a bit deep, huh!!
ReplyDeleteHi Sandra-
ReplyDeleteI love rocks..they come in a million shapes and sizes and are everywhere. I think it's great you appreciate them enough to paint them. I made a collage once at a class of rocks and people kind of looked at me crazily, but i loved it (this, I should hasten to add, is not always the case!) Thanks for visiting the Fun Room this week.
