woyww - cards
The cards are made and now I plan to write them out and get them in the post before the event is over. But, then a good book beckons me and all good intentions disappear!
Another doodle to pass the time while I wait for woyww to link up.
My cards went postal yesterday, and then I got one in the afternoon from someone I hadn't sent - parents of an old boyfriend (from 25 years ago) must be well in their '80s and as I don't keep in touch any other time I don't like to send their card until I know they are still alive and wouldn't be upset if I included someone who was no longer with us. Love the doodle Ann B #31
I totally sympathize with the "good book calling syndrome" happens to me all the time! My cards are finally all written & in the mail however, my shopping isn't finished. Heading to the big city tomorrow for a few days to hopefully get it over with. Happy WOYWW! Hugs, Renee #101
my you have been busy that is quite a pile of cards there, looks like you deserve a little read between writing , love the doodle have a fab week x #28
That is quite a few cards you have there! I always make them and never seem to get round to actually posting them, with the result that the family come over and demand to choose their own from the pile. LOL Love the doodle. Happy WOYWW! Tertia #11
Love getting cards, hate writing them - doesn't equate really, does it?? I've only started writing mine a couple of days ago so the dining table is covered in them while I'm doing the cooking and then writing a few at a time..lots of burned dinners have ensued... :) Thanks for dropping by, LLJ ~27 xx
Hi again, Just home from a carol service up the (Blue) mountains (DH plays the piano). So far the cheap paint is fine. Anyway, it's just a box of small tubes so they won't last long. Might even do a bit more tonight. Cheap paints are OK, but I agree, you want to avoid "nasty" ones. Not worth the time and effort. I saw that book here months ago and finally decided to buy it (half the price from UK Book Dep.!) I am trying not to look at it much ... saving it for the Christmas break. (Back at work on 7th, I think.) Do take it easy, if you have any energy, save it for art, not cleaning :) Catch you during the week, or next WOYWW, whichever comes first.
