A quick pic of the desk with left over bits from the card making exercise. 30 cards made and still going strong. I have stopped stamping and moved onto cards using scrap paper. Once I get sick of these I will switch over to another style. As you can see from the card on the top shelf nothing too fancy. It is waiting patiently while I decide what colour ink I will use for the sentiment.
Thank you everyone who left a comment last week..... left over bits and pieces go to April Story. Please send me your addie and I will pop it in the post. Now on to visit a few creative desks on woyww.
Hi Sandra, love your desk because there is always so much to peak at. Thirty cards is quite something ... good luck with your self-imposed challenge. That's pretty paper on the card waiting for a sentiment. Have a good week. Elizabeth x #61

30 and still counting?? JOB WELL DONE. Sometimes changing styles can keep the MOJO going, especially when making soooo many cards.

Well done you! Any particular reasons for the cards or have you just got the wind under your sails at the moment!! Please tell me they're not Chr.....s cards...I've seen far too much of that today...brrrr. Way too early to think about that yet!!

I tend to make a batch of cards with whatever technique I'm trying out at the moment too- but 30 is a great score! Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #45 xx

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely busy, desk. Pretty cards and what looks like a really interesting punch. Have a great WOYWW. Julie Ann xx #39
ReplyDeleteCongrats to April for the win. That can't be scraps. My scraps don't look that good. Maybe that punch had something to do with it (grin). Happy WOYWW from #1 who was NOT late this week.
ReplyDeleteThat card does look very nice. It's a good idea to change techniques before you lose interest (like I would).

30 cards! I am so impressed - you are so motivated. Thank you so much for the winnings. :-) And for stopping by my blog. April #120
ReplyDeleteVery impressed! Well done. Trust you are enjoying the making as well as the counting!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting. Pergamano is an ancient art where you rub the back of a piece of parchment, which stretches the fibre, thus making it go white. The more you rub, the whiter it goes. As with all crafts, this has developed over the years - and you can now colour the parchment. You also prick patterns in it - usually geometric designs. It's great fun, time consuming, very precise, but the results are exquisite. There is a page of pictures on my website - sorry they are not brilliant pictures - I had framed the works behind glass before remembering to photograph them!!! - old age creeping on!
Take care. Have a great week being crafty!!

Well done on the 30 cards, sounds like you have a good system going! I think it would be the only way I could get cards done too. Annette #9
ReplyDeleteWow 30 Cards is fabulous, and the sign of a very organised crafter. I think its great you change up your style as well as use up your scraps. Have a great week and Happy WOYWW! Danie (a very late #133)
