Not often that I post a pic of my latest card making marathon. In this case whipping up a few bird cards from last weeks Kingfisher.
Painting something a little different this week. My daughter has requested a floral wreath for a colleague. Luckily I remembered to cover her name before I took a photo otherwise the surprise would be a bit flat. Looking to add a few more flowers or leaves before I hand it over and will probably remove the pencil sketch of the bottle behind the bow. But, I will wait for her highness to give me more instructions.
Have a lovely woyww peek and I will visit lots of desks over the weekend.
Oh I'm so glad the kingfisher is being made into cards - it's such a wonderful image it needs to be spread far and wide! That floral wreath is beautiful too - I'm sure the lady will love it.

So glad that the kingfisher will be shared via cards. I still have your gorgeous bee on the wall of my shed. I'm sure the wreath will be much appreciated by your daughter's colleague. Have a good week. Sarah #12

Wonderfull! The Kingfisher is gorgeous! I see the little bird a lot, he lives in the trees along the canal behind our house. LOVE your picture. So special to be able to draw and paint such pictures, bless you! Groetjes, Francisca
ReplyDeleteHi Sandra, that kingfisher is so beautiful. As is the wreath, I'm certain she will be over the moon with it. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #6 XxX
ReplyDeleteHowe lucky your daughter is to have such a talented mum. Beautiful commissioned card (and I could not see any pencil on it at all).
ReplyDeleteLove the kingfishers obviously - a beautiful bird and a beautiful painting.

ps I am staying on a mobile home park (massive homes, not caravans or anything) and yesterday an egret went walking by - nobody know where he has come from but he seems to like it here.

ReplyDeleteHow do you make your cards? Scan and print your paintings?happy belated WOYWW Vicky#10
ReplyDeleteThe kingfisher will make beautiful cards! You could even sell the rights to a manufacturer - it's professional quality! The wreath is pretty too - you make it sound like it was a quickie, but I bet you put a lot of time into those details! Thanks for visiting earlier - sorry it took me a couple of days to get back! zsuzsa #7
ReplyDeleteStunning cards there, Sandra, and love the kingfisher, scanned down a bit to have a peek. 😊
ReplyDeleteThe floral wreath is equally exquisite too.
Thanks for sharing and for popping over too!
