Apologies for the late post but I forgot about Wednesday until it was Thursday! I could also mention the phone shadow but by this stage I am posting and moving on.
Once I painted "Obi's" eyes I felt his lovely character started to shine through. Slowly working on
his body and thinking about how to apply a subtle background.
Maybe I just think too much. LOL
Wishing you all a creative week.
Oh my goodness he is looking amazing, and so realistic it's hard to tell it's a not a photograph. He looks an adorable little chap, with oodles of character that you seem to have captured perfectly.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good week,

Obi is gorgeous and so full of character already Sandra. Better late than never! Stay safe and thanks for the visit. Sarah #5
ReplyDeleteHi Sandra, I'm late this week getting round everyone as mum is in a nursing home and we had to take her some stuff yesterday as well as going for our vaccine. Thanks for the lovely comment over at mine. I am so loving your art work and you're right the eyes just bring him to life....amazing! Wishing you a very happy belated woyww, Angela x18x
ReplyDeleteHi Sandra, He is just gorgeous. So glad you started with the eyes - they do bring him to life, don't they. My hubby used to do scraperboard pictures. He always said that if he didn't get the eyes right he may as well throw away and start all over again.
ReplyDeleteI too, am late getting round this week. Must try harder next time, mustn't I?
Take care. God bless.

ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW!
Stay safe and keep well!
Update on here in Victoria – we are in a snap lockdown again – hopefully only for a few days – but 5k limit, no visitors or gatherings, only leave the house for the 4 special reasons, only essential shops open…
And the rainbow lorikeets are eating our peaches!
