woyww Obi and a few ATC

"Obi" is now off my desk and had a quick trip outside for a photo in good light.
I will probably add a bit more shading to his tail and then it is done.

With the sad news about  Shaz I pulled out the WOYWW folder  and had a look at the  beautiful ATC's
I received from Shaz over the years.

She will be sadly missed and my thoughts and prayers are with her family.

  6. I’m sorry I’m so late visiting this week. I’ve been head down making Memory bears this morning.

  9. Obi looks more 3D now - but I only noticed the difference compared to the previous stage of the painting. He almost pops off that page now! We'll all miss Shaz - WOYWW will not be the same without her. Take care xx zsuzsa #31

  11. Obi's portrait is so beautiful, Sandra, and he has such a sweet expression. It's lovely that people are sharing pictures of the cards that Shaz sent them - I am sure many of us have a little collection that we will look at and remember a very special lady - it's great to have tangible evidence of her creativity. I still find it hard to believe she's gone - she was so special and helped me personally so much, and it's very hard to accept that through both our colorectal cancers, I have survived and she has lost the battle. So unfair.

Thank you for your lovely comment - I can't wait for some warmer weather so we can get our pretty umbrella out again and sit in the garden! The kitties find it a bit cold at the moment and are happy to come in again when called. It's a different story in the summer. Naughty little stop-outs then! At the moment they are enjoying lots of cuddles to keep warm. I am so glad you liked my collection of Hebrew cross stitch designs. It was fun digging them out again after all these years, and great that someone spotted one on Pinterest and wanted to do it. Now that the Tiny Carpets project is finished, I'm quite missing my cross stitch! I must do some more...

Hard to say "happy WOYWW" because our family is now incomplete, so I'll just say have a good week.

Shaz will never have really left us because her blog will keep her alive for us and I can tell you it wont be the last time I pop over there for some ideas when I get stuck, God Bless her. 20. Seriously the loveliest pic ever! Beautiful Obi! You are so so patient Sandra, my fam think I’m patient, but I really could do with a lesson or two from you, and certainly one of those lessons would be learning how you know when it’s time to stop. I mean, how do you know that Obi’s tail needs a bit more shading?!!
