Six months certainly goes by pretty quickly.
Adjusting to the new normal meant a lot of things went by the wayside and posting on woyww
got replaced with Insta. But, I am getting a little tired of Insta and the constant push to sell me things I don't want, need or even like. If I think about Insta it feels like I spent more time on settings trying to disable everything and falling down a rabbit hole of memes which occasionally made me laugh.
Back to Blogger and there have been a few changes. After a year of constant changes what is one more in the big scheme.
This little WIP is the beginnings of "Obi". So far he is behaving nicely and has the sweetest disposition. Will see what happens when I work on those eyes over the weekend.
Hope all well for all the lovely people in WOYWW.
Lovely to see you back. Your painting in progress is looking good. Stay safe and well.

I'm so glad to see you back, and your painting is looking great - he looks like a sweet little chap with lots of character so far. I don't do Instagram although I did open an account but I find very impersonal and also not very intuitive to use.
ReplyDeleteStay safe and well and I'm looking forward to seeing the finished painting!

Yay, I’m so happy to see you back on the desks Sandra! I love seeing your work and appreciate how adept you are at watercolours, I am just a beginner for sure. You can see the personality of the little dog appearing already! Looking forward to seeing many more creations in the future.

Lovely to see you back, I'm only just back myself. Despite the weirdness of this time, it has passed so quickly in some ways. Loving how Obi is shaping up already. I do Insta as well and I do have to scroll past a lot of stuff! Stay safe and keep smiling, Lisa-Jane #2
ReplyDeleteDo miss you when you aren't around. You know how I admire your art work but maybe not how much I look forward each week to seeing it. So your trip to another media has left me without your lovely paintings and I have missed them. Can't wait to see this little dog grow under your care.

Hi Sandra. So good to see you today - have missed your glorious paintings. I don't do any social media - I have watched too many of my friends going glassy eyed as they seem to spend every moment on there - so I for one am pleased you are here! Obi is looking good already. Trust the eyes go well this week.
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

ReplyDeleteLove the beginning of your painting, look forward to seeing it completed. Take care and have a great week Angela #17
ReplyDeleteLove the painting! I can't wait to see the finished project. I just started with WOYWW but still I want to say Welcome back!
ReplyDeleteI don't own a mobile phone (which still shocks the heck out of people) so I have never been involved with instagram. I can barely keep up with my blogger, FB and YT stuff.
When I get a chance I will take a look at your past projects!

ReplyDeleteWelcome back! IG is definitely a bit of a rabbit hole, I'd agree. Can't wait to see how Obi comes out.

Welcome back, Sandra - nice to see you again. I don't do any social media - just blogging and YouTube. I've never been attracted by Facebook etc. That's a lovely beginning of a painting, and I do love your pretty little drawers in the background.
ReplyDeleteHappy belated WOYWW,

Oh wow how cute is that! Can't to see hime reveal his true character - I'm sure he will still be sweet! Happy belated WOYWW, stay well stay safe, Love n hugs Cindyxx #19
ReplyDeleteI'm so looking forward to seeing Obi completed. Yes IG is a weird one, I moved to IG from FB a couple of years ago and found it tried to control what I saw, usually things I didn't want to and the things I did I couldn't find. There's no way I had the time to scroll, scroll and scroll some more so I no longer use it, just like FB it's really not for me. Stay well & creative Tracey x
ReplyDeleteLook forward to seeing the finished project!
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW!
Stay safe and keep well!
I am hoping to visit everyone this week – unfortunately last week I just couldn’t make it…

Thank you for your return visit, Sandra, and for your kind words! I'm hoping my hubby will like his kitty throw when the time comes.

Thank you for your latest visit, Sandra. Obi has come out beautifully - had a look at him in your next post. Such a gorgeous painting. You are very, very talented. I'm so glad you enjoyed seeing our "snow-covered" garden - there was a bit more this morning, but again it didn't last. I am glad we have such an equable climate here in the UK even though the weather is very variable (that's a good thing too because otherwise what would we Brits have to talk about lol!!) - bush fires and all the rest are truly awful, and so worrying for all the inhabitants. I'm glad that you are another one who liked my latest kitty square - I shall definitely have to make friends with him because everybody else except me seems to like him!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
