Charlie relaxing on her watercolour cushion, thinking about her next meal probably.
Before I cleaned the palette I painted up a few cards.
Quick brush strokes and a touch of metallic paint.
Not a lot of thought or planning ....which is good as I can really over think
the most simple of projects.
Kitty looks great and the card designs are gorgeous. Have a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x21x
ReplyDeletethe cat is great, and i love the cards! Happy WOYWW even though it's Thursday now, lol Helen #10
ReplyDeleteWow sis. That's clever plus Sandra.. wish my uncleaned palette produced cards like that... love them very much agree with you on overthinking in watercolours!
ReplyDeleteDouble WOW on Charlie... not dusty at all he scrubbed up beautifullly 😉😆😂🤣
And is most serenely resting upon a cloud it, seems deeply contemplative.. perhaps a wee critter in view. Something to chase. Charlie's owner will be delighted.
Well, now in Aprilso no doubtit will fly too.
Thanks for sharing, and may God bless and keep you and all whom you love safe and well.
Prayer hugs, Shaz in Oz. X

ReplyDeleteAh, look at those pretty pretty cards, you just have the knack of this watercolour malarkey! The cat is great too, reminds me of a couple of gingers that I have owned in my life...well, I say owned, I was their staff more like 😉
ReplyDeleteHugs LLJ 2 xx
Sandra, how wonderful to be able to pick up paint and create cards like that "without a lot of thought or planning" - your words. If only!
ReplyDeleteNow to the cat - what a beautiful picture that is. you have captured her perfectly although I do not know her. I can well imagine she looks just like that as she lies thinking pussy cat thoughts. Obviously she is not dreaming of chasing mice and such activities or she would have her eyes closed and she would be giving it the occasional twitch, that cats do.
Beautiful as always.
Hugs, Neet 12 xx
Absolutely stunning cards! They are such beautiful colours and so fresh looking. And of course the puss is wonderful too (and not the only one thinking about their next meal...) Stay safe and keeping smiling, Lisa-Jane #3
ReplyDeleteYou captured Charlie so beautifully and the two main colours go so well together! You made the cards sounds so easy and effortless - I'm sure they're not! They all look amazing! Happy Easter and thanks for your visit! xx zsuzsa #22
ReplyDeleteOh Sandra, your paintings are so beautiful... Charlie is gorgeous, and I love the choice of the complimentary colour for the cushion. For someone just using up what was on the palette, the cards you have made are little works of art and will be cherished by whoever receives them.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visit, and for your special wishes for Easter which I return. During these "times of the signs" I keep "looking up, for the day of my redemption draws near" - however bad things are, for those of us "abiding under the shadow of the Almighty" know that we are safe. So glad you are enjoying the progress of the cat blanket and could vicariously enjoy the curry!
Happy belated WOYWW and God bless,
Shoshi x #20
