woyww - white walls and atc

 Not a lot of craft happening on my desk this woyww.  But, I did get to move most of the furniture and craft stuff back into my room after it was painted.  Trying hard to get rid of rubbish but there are so many bits and pieces that I just can't throw away.  The bowing in the shelf at the back of the desk shows just how much rubbish I had!!

woyww - absolutely nothing

The only creativity happening in my little craft room is 

a coat or two of paint over the weekend.  

But I did get to finish the tulips.

woyww - tulips and not much else

Last weeks atc frenzy has come to an end and I started painting tulips and then it all came to a stop.  What you see on my desk this wednesday is the first stages of the painting.  Highlights and lowlights.  Plastic bag over the top of paints to stop dust and fluff drifting onto the plate.   Dirty water and paper towel on the left just sitting waiting for me to come back.  Hopefully this weekend I can get into watching more of Anna Mason's tutorial and visit lots of desks.

woyww - atc frenzy

No painting this woyww.  With the completion of the rose I have been able to move on to making a few atc's for a swap that is coming up.  I can hardly wait.

 A rose .... next flower will definitely have less petals.

woyww- pink rose at snail pace

Not a lot has changed from last week, still working on the rose and trying not to get bamboozled by all those petals and which one gets the highlight.  Finally moved on to the leaves last night.  Truly a snail would of eaten it faster then I paint.  The little desk lamp has been elevated onto the white shelf.  I kept having to move the rose photo to turn the lamp off.  Only took me several weeks to stop complaining and just move it.  

Happy woyww and I promise to have a peek at lots of desks over the next few days.

woyww - pale rose

A close up of my latest "Anna Mason" online workshop -part 1 and 2 of the rose completed.  This means I have painted the absolute palest colours and the darkest colours.  Once those two are in place the rest is all about balancing tone.  Hard to believe I have used nearly every colour on my test sheet already.  Busy schedule this week so I may have to wait until the weekend before I start part 3.

  

That also means I will be slowly visiting desk over the next couple of days and into the weekend :(
