My desk taken late on Tuesday night has Kitty in a huff. Someone has left the laundry door closed so she can't put herself to bed and she has come demanding attention now! Otherwise she drinks the water in the jars and chases things around my desk, jumps on my chair, swipes me on the head until I get the message. Don't mess with this kitty.
Tried painting cone flowers but had trouble with water blooms. All part of the learning process so I try not to get annoyed.
The finished painting of the seed heads which I had started last week. That is all I have achieved on this woyww. Looking forward to visiting a few desks this week.
Hi Sandra, Kitty on your desk is a CLASSIC! She really looks like she has "attitude"!
ReplyDeleteThose watercolours like great! Specially the seed heads, and kitty (below) looks fabulous too! I think you are doing really well with those watercolours. No time for WOYWW this week, flat out dealing with paperwork from having a week off!
"look" great, of course. Brain moving faster than fingers ... maybe.
ReplyDeleteHi Sandra, I can see who's the boss in your house ... Kitty is definitely a cat with attitude. And gorgeous too :) Love your watercolours - the colours are so gentle ... and I like the cone flowers, beautiful. Elizabeth x no linky, no number yet.
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is....if that was all I'd acheived I'd be one very happy bunny. Your painting is just gorgeous.

Don't get annoyed, Sandra, they are quite beautiful... I love the watery effect of the flowers. You are soooo talented!
ReplyDeleteWe have a kitty like that. Up till now she's been banned from my ARTHaven because of her nosiness and being so destructive. I shall have to see about my new one, whether or not I let them in!! They are very demanding of attention, aren't they. Remember: dogs have owners, cats have staff. Says it all, really.
Thanks for your lovely comment - we are planning on moving Tues 26th Aug. if the removers can do it! Loads to do, before and after.
Happy WOYWW,

What a pretty cat.
ReplyDeleteYour paintings are both wonderful, I was saying to another desker earlier I am looking forward to my hols and taking watercolours with me, not tried them yet.

Oh my goodness - how beautiful are those!!! Clever you - wish I could do that. x Jo #11
ReplyDeleteThey are LOVELY paintings, I adore the cone flower one, so don't touch it, just send it to me....LOL
ReplyDeleteKrisha #108
Oh, my kitty does the same thing. Stands right in front of me to force some loving time. It is good though, makes me stop and BREATHE.
ReplyDeleteHave to agree with everyone else- your watercolours are amazing! Lol at your cat- that face says it all! Sort of' Human, do you understand how much trouble you are in?' Love how they get their message across without a single word. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz xx #22
ReplyDeletehahaha cats are so the boss. I have never owned one but stories from everyone else is enough for me. Love your paintings, they are exquisite
ReplyDeleteBridget #63
That is a beautiful kitty. I have a resident furry friend in my craft room so I know how disruptive they can be! I think your watercolours are amazing. If you have learned this from a few videos then you are doing just fine! Kate x #18
ReplyDeleteOh your kitty is just adorable, even if she is a bit cross with you! She looks very much like my cat, Daisy, they could be sisters! I think your water colour flowers are really pretty and the seed heads too - clever, clever you! Julie Ann x #12
ReplyDeleteAaaaw, grumpy kitty wants in the laundry room! I love how the seed heads have turned out and think you are too hard on yourself as the other one is lovely too! Annette #1 for the first time in 4 years!
ReplyDeleteWow, they are stunning. I wish I could paint like that, the sed heads are superb. Why am I taking expensive classes when you can learn to do something that good from videos? They really are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.

ReplyDeleteCheers

Bleubeard is in LOVE. He wants to get to know your kitty. He thinks she's a real beauty.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what water blooms are, but they sound like they need to be avoided. Still, I love, love, love your flowers (seed heads) from last week, and the cone flowers, regardless what you think. If I could make art like that, I would NEVER be disappointed. Happy belated WOYWW from #2.
You should never mess with Orange Cats they mean business and they get what they want regardless. He is really beautiful, give him a cuddle from Yoda and I. Thanks for visiting, unfortunately the wrong link went up this week and everyone is visiting me from 2 weeks ago LOL Thanks for popping by so nice to have you drop in too.
ReplyDeleteHugs Eliza & Yoda who is really 52
Sorry I am getting back to you so late.
Gorgeous paintings and I can see the desk for the cat! What are they like?
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my post-hols desk BJ#120
Your watercolor flowers are just gorgeous as is your cat! He totally has that don't mess with me look because I can cause trouble look.....don't you just love them. Hope you have a great week. Danie #25 (a wee late in visiting everyone this week).
ReplyDeleteOh love the expression on Kitty's face..totally recognise it!!
ReplyDelete'all you have achieved' - my word, they are wonderful pics, and despite the water bloom (which I had to look for) I think the cone flowers are sublime.
Definitely, one very cross cat. She obviously knows what she wants and means to get it. You may not be completely happy with your paintings but I think they are brilliant. The cone flowers have a strong look of the Monet softness, quite ethereal. Thank you for your visit this week and I certainly hope I don't have too many spider scares like that one. Have a good week. xx Maggie #48
